1 Are the voltage specifications universal?
No, voltage specifications are not universal. Each model must be configured for a specific voltage — AC 110V / 220V or DC 12V / 24V / 48V. Operating the unit beyond its rated voltage is strictly prohibited and may cause permanent damage or safety hazards.
2 Why does resistance vary between different production batches?
Resistance variation between batches is a natural characteristic of the PTC ceramic sintering process. These tolerances fall within acceptable ranges and do not meaningfully impact power output or temperature performance, ensuring consistent end-product reliability.
3 Will PTC chips age over time?
Yes, PTC components age naturally over time. Under normal operating conditions, stable performance can be maintained for 5 to 10 years. Note that overvoltage operation and dry heating will accelerate aging and shorten service life.
4 What is the power range?
Our standard power range starts from 1W with no fixed upper limit. Custom specifications are available upon request.
5 Is power control supported?
Yes, power control is fully supported. Output and constant-temperature operation can be achieved via voltage regulation, PID controllers, thermal switches, or frequency control systems.
